ILM Level 5 Certificate or Diploma Top Up

Our ground breaking NLP Practitioner & Coaching Certificate programme is externally accredited by no less than 3 professional bodies (ANLP, AC and the ILM), giving you the opportunity to gain 3 separate internationally recognised qualifications. We say certification is optional in this programme; some people simply wish to use this programme of studies as a part of their personal and professional development, others obviously want and need something more substantial from their investment.   We offer no less than three individual certifications / accreditations with this course of studies.

The NLP Practitioner and the AC Coaching Certificate is the core published offering, however there is also an  additional option to “top-up” and extend your studies and gain the ILM Level 5 Certificate or Diploma in Coaching & Mentoring*.  The ILM Level 5 Coaching and Mentoring Certificate / Diploma are highly respected qualifications that give practicing and aspiring managers and consultants the opportunity to develop in their role as a coach or mentor.

The ILM is the UK’s leading provider of leadership, coaching and management qualifications and training. ILM forms part of the City & Guilds Group. City & Guilds is the biggest name in vocational education, with two million learners embarking on a qualification every year. The UK College of Personal Development has been an ILM Approved Centre for 10 years.

The aim of this additional “top-up”programme is to develop the capability to coach others within an organisational and corporate setting with a non-directive, non-judgmental framework with the focus on performance improvement. The additional qualification will allow participants to gain the confidence and ability to support others in their development and personal growth.

Coaching Supervision

The UK College of Personal Development is committed to sustaining and advancing the very best coaching practice. Our aim as a professional training organisation is to fully support all our students that are completing our range of accredited coach training programmes.  As set out by the professional body, supervision is regarded as essential for all developing and practicing professional coaches.

What is Coaching Supervision?Group supervision

Coaching supervision is a formal and protected time for facilitating in-depth reflection for coaches to discuss their work with someone who is experienced as a Coach.

Supervision offers a confidential framework within a collaborative working relationship in which the practice, tasks, process and challenges of the development of the coach and the actual coaching work can be explored.

The primary aim of supervision is to enable the coach to gain in ethical competency, confidence and creativity so as to ensure best possible service to the coaching client. Supervision is not a ‘policing’ role, but rather a trusting and collegial professional relationship.

These sessions will be held at regular intervals so no matter where you are in your studies, there will be opportunities for you to join the sessions.  Once you will be included in the supervision event invitations.

The good news is that the process of support and development for our students will not end when they qualify and leave the training programme, we will continue to offer additional opportunities for professional CPD and Supervision, both with group or one to one to all via our new Professional Support Service programme.
