Summer Camp – Coach Training Intensive
If you have been considering gaining a professional coaching qualification then our Summer Intensive Programme may be the ideal event for you. This is a five or seven-day intensive and highly interactive coach training and certification event. This course is designed to give you a world of knowledge and experience in coaching and its various models and approaches. An experiential and content-rich experience that will give you the confidence to begin your coaching career.
You will have the option of gaining either the Foundation Diploma in Life Coaching – AACT (5 days) or the full Certificate in Business & Life Coaching – ACCT (7 days).
This unique intensive coaching programme is fully accredited by the Association for Coaching and will provide you with the skills and confidence to work with a wide range of coaching clients. You will develop a set of skills that will help develop your critical thinking ability and also provide a framework with which to help transform your client’s lives. As a gift, you will be given a year’s Student Membership of the Association For Coaching once you are registered on the course.
On completion of the 5 or 7 days training, you will be given all the assignment requirements to complete over the summer and once complete you will be invited to our annual Graduation where you will be awarded either the Foundation Diploma in Life Coaching – AACT (5 days) or the full Certificate in Business & Life Coaching – ACCT (7 days).
You will be eligible to join the Association of Coaching as a Full Member.

What Assignments are required?
As well as attending the training, each qualification has some additional assignment requirements:
- Foundation Diploma in Life Coaching – AACT (5 days) – 10 hours of documented coaching and 1500 word essay
- Certificate in Business & Life Coaching – ACCT (7 days) – 20 hours of documented coaching and 2000 word essay
- NLP Foundation Diploma – (5 days) Questionnaire and 1500 word essay

What Previous Knowledge is Required?
The good news is that no prior learning knowledge or experience is essential to take this training course. This training is open to anyone wishing to gain a coaching qualification and would like to take part in a highly rewarding carer.
Welcome and programme introduction and overview, qualifying criteria including specific Association For Coaching criteria, codes of ethics etc, NLP and Coaching: An Overview & History, Rapport, Sensory Acuity, Calibration, Anchors, The Power of Well-Formed Outcomes.
Exploring Representational Systems, Predicates Preference, Eye Accessing Cues, Perceptual Positions, New Behaviour Generator, Presuppositions, Developing a deeper understanding of Well-Formed Outcomes and how they relate to the coaching process.
Exploring Coaching Models (part one) – The development of the body of knowledge within the Coaching space is vast, we will be exploring a range of coaching models during this course. First up is WHAT, GROW and SUCCESS.
Exploring Core Coaching Competencies. We will look at how these competencies fit into the coaching structure and what they really mean in practice. We will also work on Listening Skills, Coaching Presence and the value of Psychometric Profiling Tools.
Exploring Coaching Models (part two) – Building on the previous day of coaching models, we will be exploring OSKAR, Logical Levels and Powerful Questions.
The Meta Model, The Power Of Questions, Practical NLP Coaching. The Meta Model is a set of questions designed to specify information, challenge and expand the limits to a person’s model of the world. It responds to the distortions, generalizations, and deletions in the speaker’s language. It’s a powerful tool in enabling clients to discover more about both what they actually want and who they really are.
